Today, my faith in humanity was restored. You see, we live out in the boondocks, it’s more like Old Waverly but it’s officially Willis. Anyway, long story short … my elderly mom’s roof is in need of repairs and/or possible replacement. This morning, Scott Ramsey from Galvan Roofing was not only on time, he quickly surveyed the damage, took photos and then he went out of his way to purchase a tarp & nails at a New Waverly hardware store and he nailed the temporary tarp on the roof until the work gets done. When I thanked him for going above and beyond the call of duty, he said that he couldn’t have slept well knowing that there was a water leak in my mom’s home. Also, he spoke very highly of the Galvan family business and their dedication to their customers being the main reason he joined the company.
